TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
